There are 2 services that you need for a working web site - a domain and a hosting plan for it. If you type the Internet domain in your browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the website hosting account, but if that domain name is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it is parked. To put it differently, the domain is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it could be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and make certain that no one else is going to take it. Meanwhile, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted domain name inside your account. You can also park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main web site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Website Hosting

With each and every website hosting plan which we offer you are able to park as many domain names as you wish and in contrast to other companies, we do not have any service fees for that. Of course, this can be done exclusively for domain names which are registered through our company because parking a domain is possible only with the registrar, but not through the host unless you have the two services with only one company. We have a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can conveniently park and un-park domains, pick one of the templates that we provide and add custom text to it, or direct a domain address to a URL of your preference. If you host a parked domain, our system will change its name servers and create a folder in the File Manager automatically. Also you can set filters to check out only the parked or only the hosted domain names, which will permit you to handle them quick and simple.
